Four awards will be awarded to original work in the following categories:
- Best Oral Presentation Award (3 awards):
- Awarded for each of the categories of Neonatal, Obstetrics and Nursing/Midwifery.
- Opened to those below the age of 45, as of 31st December 2022.
- Best Overall Poster Presentation Award (1 award)
- The panel of judges will be appointed by the Scientific Committee, and the judges’ decisions are final.
- The Committee reserves the right to determine the final form of presentation for each category.
- No awards will be made if there are less than 3 papers in any category.
- Late breaking abstracts are not eligible for oral presentation awards. All late breaking sessions will be provided special sessions within the symposium, a special section in the published congress scientific programme and a certificate of appreciation.
- It is the prerogative of the judges not to award any prize(s) should the quality of the papers be deemed to be of insufficient quality. The decisions of the panel of judges, appointed by the Scientific Committee, are final.
- Shortlisted abstracts will be eligible for the award and are required to present their presentations with a `question and answer’ session to the judges during specified sessions at the congress.
- Late submissions will not be eligible for the awards.
